Cathay Dragon To Acquire 32 Airbus A321neos. Previously named as Dragonair, the carrier has signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire 32 Airbus A321neo aircraft, in a deal valued at USD 4.05 billion dollars at catalog prices.

The new aircraft, slated to be delivered between 2020 and 2023, are destined to replace the current 23-string fleet of the Hong Kong regional company. These comprise 15 A320s and eight A321s.

"The intention to buy these 32 environmentally friendly aircraft will allow us to add new destinations to the Cathay Dragon network.
