US Marine CH-53E Super Stallion Largest Helicopter

The Super Stallion is the heaviest and largest helicopter in US Military, widely used as military transport and utility purpose. The CH-53E has 42 tonnes MTOW (maximum takeoff weight), thanks to third engine additional as well as more blade on its rotor and tail rotor section.

Currently, Sikorsky developing even bigger helicopter rather than CH-53E, they will be called CH-53K. The CH-53K plans to be the largest and heaviest helicopter ever built with MTOW more than 60 tonnes. At the moment the heaviest helicopter belong to Russian Mil Mi-26.
