Finnair Announces Regional and Long-Haul Flights With A350-900

National-owned airlines of Finland, Finnair announces to open routes in short and long-haul flights with new Airbus A350-900 in October 2015.

The regional routes will be across Europe, such as Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom, Austria and many more.

While the long-haul flights will be to Shanghai and Beijing in October 2015, following this there will be Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore as well in the end of this year or in 2016. Finnair ordered eight of A350-900s XWB (extra wide body) in 2006 and expected to receive first four A350-900 aircraft in Q2 this year, and for the additional order for 2018 delivery. Approximately, Finnair will have total 19 A350-900 in 2020.

In long-haul flights service, currently the airlines operating eight of A330 Series and seven A340 Series aircraft. Apparently, the carrier also will cut all of A340-300 fleet in 2017 and replacing with A350 Series.
