Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor of 27th Fighter Squadron while turning on runway at Langley Air Force Base. The 27th Fighter Squadron also known Fightin' Eagles are the eldest active fighter squadron in the United States Air Force. Located in Langley Air Force Base near Hampton in Virginia.

The 27th Fighter Squadron have been operating since world war I back in 1917, originally formed at Kelly Field in Texas. The squadron involved in European war in WWI and WWII as well as Cold War, equipped with F-15 Eagle in 1976. Currently Fightin' Eagles have F-22 Raptor in its fleet and become one of the largest F-22's fleet in USAF.
